Solvent distillers REGENSOLV

Recover and reuse the used solvent directly on your premises

The REGENSOLV solvent distillers They are designed to recover contaminated solvents from painting, cleaning and degreasing processes, as well as other professional and industrial applications.

Through a process of distillation and separation of contaminants, enable the recovery of solvent for reuse, thereby reducing the purchase of new product and the amount of waste that needs to be managed.

The REGENSOLV range includes a variety of capacities to suit both garages and body shops as well as companies with high solvent consumption.

Benefits of solvent recovery

  • Reduces the consumption of new solvent: It reuses a significant proportion of the product that would previously have become waste.
  • Reduces management costs: reduces the amount of contaminated solvent that needs to be removed.
  • Recovery at your own premises: avoid relying solely on external management of the solvent used.
  • A simple and repeatable process: designed to facilitate the routine recovery of the solvent.
  • Different capacities: select the team REGENSOLV suitable for your usage and workload.

Recycle the used solvent as a resource that you can make use of again.

How does a solvent distiller work?

A solvent distiller The used solvent is heated in a controlled manner until it evaporates. The vapour produced is separated from the contaminants and then condensed, allowing the solvent to be recovered.

Residues of paint, oils, greases, pigments and other contaminants remain separated within the equipment, whilst the recovered solvent can be reused where process conditions permit.

In other words:

Used solvent → distillation → separation of contaminants → recovered solvent

❓ Frequently asked questions about solvent recovery

This equipment enables the solvent to be separated from contaminants by means of distillation, allowing the solvent to be recovered for subsequent reuse where appropriate for the process.

This depends on the product’s characteristics, its boiling point, the contaminants present and the equipment specifications. To select the appropriate model, it is advisable to analyse the solvent used beforehand.

Solvent distillers are commonly used to separate solvents from paint residues and other contaminants. The suitability of the process will depend on the product used and its characteristics.

It helps to reduce the consumption of new solvent, minimise the volume of waste requiring disposal, and recover part of the product used in-house.

The choice depends mainly on the volume of solvent generated, the frequency of use and the characteristics of the product to be recovered. The REGENSOLV 30, 70 and 200 range caters for different levels of consumption.

In this type of application, both terms are frequently used to refer to equipment that recovers used solvents through distillation and the separation of contaminants.

Why recover used solvent?

Every litre of solvent that can be recovered means less new product to buy and less waste to manage.

Where solvents are used frequently, installing a recovery system makes it possible to turn a recurring cost into a more efficient in-house process.

Calculate the potential savings

Solvent consumed per month × cost per litre × recoverable percentage

Without setting a universal percentage, as this will depend very much on the type of solvent and the degree of contamination.
